Recovery Coaching & More
Treatment Navigation: Getting help can be a confusing. There are different options available and our trained staff will sit down with you face to face and share all available treatment options so that you can make an informed decision about the path that is right for you.
Peer support meetings: Different types of support groups are held at our center. Please look at our meeting page to find a day, time and location that will work for you. We are happy to meet with you prior if you have any questions about what to expect when you attend a meeting at the Turning Point and can give you a tour so coming through the door is not so scary.
Recovery Coaching: Our certified Peer Recovery Coaches provide one-on-one support for individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorder. Through office visits, community connections, recreational activities, and more, we collaboratively establish personal goals and action plans for self-improvement.
Together with their Recovery Coach, individuals explore opportunities, overcome challenges, and seek assistance when needed.
Peer Recovery Coaches provide a unique balance of empathy, lived experience, and accountability.
Supports for Family Members: We consider family members of people with a substance use disorder as people in need of recovery too. Not from a substance use disorder, but from the maladaptive behavior when caring about a person who is struggling. In our attempts to help we can sometimes do more harm. Wit's End is our peer support group for family members, and you can also get a family support recovery coach too.
NARCAN: The Turning Point is an approved state site for the distribution of Narcan the opioid overdose reversal medication. Narcan is provided to community members free of charge. Carry Narcan! You may have the opportunity to save a life.
Through generous partner grants all services at the Turning Point are free.
